Corruption and flawed planning drive us away from sustainable mobility

The transportation sector is responsible for more than 22% of global CO2 emissions and is the most dependent on fossil fuels in the world.

One way to reduce emissions is to electrify engines. However, the hazardous waste generated by their batteries and the generation of electricity in a non-renewable way make this a far from ideal solution.

The use of sustainable fuels presents itself as another solution. Brazil has the potential to become the main producer of Green Hydrogen and is already making progress in public policies such as the "Fuel of the Future" law.

However, sustainable mobility does not only involve decarbonizing means of transportation.
